Dr Athena Wright Ballester

GP

Dr Athena Wright Ballester is our GP Registrar for this year. 

 

A GP Registrar is a doctor, in their 3rd or 4th year of Specialist Training to become a GP. Since completing their medical degree, they have a minimum of 3 years in hospital training prior to working as a GP registrar. Dr Breen and Dr Mantle are GP Trainers for the UCD Dublin Mid Leinster Training Scheme and mentor the registrars during their year in the practice. 

 

Dr Wright Ballester graduated Medicine from RCSI in 2019. She has worked in paediatrics, emergency medicine, obs & gynae, psychiatry and medicine for the elderly. She has a special interest in dermatology, women's health and paediatric medicine.

 

She has completed a Diploma in Women's Health from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as well as a Diploma in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
