Sophie Paz

Practice Nurse

Sophie graduated from UCD in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has since gained a wide range of experience across hospital settings, including theatre, anaesthetics, endoscopy, oncology, and most recently inI infusion suite, where she cared for patients with chronic conditions such as Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. In this role, she supported patients throughout their treatment journey, overseeing their care, monitoring responses, and providing ongoing support.

Sophie has a particular interest in holistic care, looking beyond symptoms to support people as whole individuals. She has completed further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is passionate about helping patients achieve balance in life, manage chronic illness, and maximise their health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her young family, sea swimming, and gardening.
