Dr Liam McCrone

GP Registrar

Dr Liam McCrone is our GP Registrar for this year. 

 

A GP Registrar is a doctor, in their 3rd or 4th year of Specialist Training to become a GP. Since completing their medical degree, they have a minimum of 3 years in hospital training prior to working as a GP registrar. Dr Breen and Dr Mantle are GP Trainers for the UCD Dublin Mid Leinster Training Scheme and mentor the registrars during their year in the practice. 

 

Dr McCrone graduated Medicine from UCD in 2013. He worked as a surgical trainee for a number of years before setting his sights on General Practice. He has worked in paediatrics, emergency medicine, obs & gyn, psychiatry, endocrine medicine and medicine for the elderly. He has a special interest in minor surgery, men's health and paediatric medicine.
